Pastor CW Parker

Pastor C.W. Parker acknowledged and surrendered to God’s call on his life to preach in 1982 at the age of 15. He has been serving faithfully in full-time ministry since 1992. 

Pastor Parker is a native of Oakland California. He was licensed under Dr. M.T. Thompson and the Berkeley Mt. Zion Church in 1982, and ordained by Dr. Samuel Williams, Sr, Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in 1996. Pastor Parker served under Dr. Williams as his youth pastor and assistant pastor of the Trinity Church. It was there he developed his passion and practice of teaching the Word of God; equipping the people of God with the truth of His Word. 

Pastor Parker is the president of C.W. Parker Ministries, a non-profit organization designed to meet and minister to the needs of people by sharing the practical truths of the Word of God, to make a difference in their lives. 

Pastor Parker began serving Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Merced, California in December of 2023. He and Friendship, pastor and people partner together for the “Friendship Experience”-Welcome, Word and Worship. Friendship is a church where you can believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, belong (through membership in the body of Christ) and become the believer God intended you to be.

Of all the jobs and responsibilities that he has, his most important role is that of husband and father. He has been married to his wife, Angelique Parker, over 35 years and is the  proud father of two girls Mercedes, (Daniel) and Courtney Wade (Andre) god-son Jalil Ashford and grandfather of “The Heir” Daniel Hudson, III, “The Duke” Dyson Hudson, “The Baron” Drew Hudson, “The Duchess” Draya Lynn Blount and Payton Ashford. 

Pastor Parker has often said “ I am a person before God, a partner with my wife, a parent to my children, and then I am a pastor of a church. If I am not any of the first three, I cannot effectively be the last.” 

He can best be defined by his motto, “I hang my hat on the Word of God”
